Rise and Shine - Ian Mclagan and the Bump Band

Rise & Shine! was the first Bump Band album Mac produced at Mac's Laughing Dogs studio near Austin Texas and like most of his recordings it’s dedicated to his muse, Kim McLagan. Released in 2004,  it features eleven tracks of original material, ten new and one overhauled from Mac’s 1985 EP, Last Chance to Dance. the Bump Band had the double thrust of Gurf Morlix and Scrappy Jud Newcomb on guitars & vocals, George Reiff, bass & vocals; Don Harvey, drums; Mac on keyboards & vocals; & Patty Griffin adding her sweet soulful vocals.

Released on March 23, 2004 on Maniac Records.
